The GPS (Global Product & SWE) recruiting function at Facebook supports technical hiring across all of our consumer apps and products within the Facebook company (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Workplace, Portal, Oculus & Novi) as well as our Ads, Growth, Responsible Innovation, Privacy and Emerging Product teams. As a Recruiting Manager for the Product Design team, you will oversee Product Design hiring across Facebook, Instagram, Ads, Growth and Novi. You will apply your operational depth and strategic thinking to develop, drive, and execute on the staffing strategies across the Design organization. This Recruiting Manager will lead staffing professionals that execute against global hiring targets and work closely with multiple stakeholders to drive world class recruiting practices with a constant eye on scaling for the future. In this role, you will know how to manage, mentor, and guide a team of recruiters and/or sources’ through all facets of the recruiting life-cycle.

  • Inspire, grow and nurture a team of recruiting professionals to deliver against Business hiring needs while meeting quality expectations
  • Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team
  • Collaborate with key business leadership partners to understand future plans and develop a global strategy to deliver on these plans
  • Leverage data analytics to drive operational improvements and amplify operational excellence to support team’s rapid growth
  • Champion recruiting process improvements and recruiting tool enhancements on a global level
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be recognized as trusted advisor in all recruitment matters
  • Scale and evolve the team to meet business demand
  • Continue to grow a seasoned team of recruiters and source’s through coaching and career development conversations
  • Understand HR-related regulations and compliance procedures across North America, EMEA and APAC
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team of recruiters and/or sources
  • Experience collaborating with key business leaders and senior cross-functional partners
  • Experience translating data and analysis into strategic recruitment processes and recommendations
  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience
  • Experience managing a Product Design technical recruiting team
  • Experience leading a team of 8+ direct reports
  • Experience building and scaling technical recruitment teams
